My name is Matt Outlaw. My wife and I started our home gym in May 2020 because of the COVID-19 shut downs of the local gyms. I am an avid fitness enthusiast. I have been working out consistently for about 10 years in a commercial gym. I’ve gone through several phases between lifting weights and running. The older I get, the more I love the challenge that lifting brings. With running, it got to the point that I could run as much as I wanted without much of a challenge. So I changed to lifting. I enjoy more of the power lifting style (bench, deadlift, overhead press and of course, the SQUAT! But I also enjoy a small amount strongman workouts like carries, etc. So this website will be devoted to reviewing equipment around lifting weights. I am by no means a professional weight lifter or fitness instructor. I just like to lift. I want to share my experience with the equipment that I acquire.
